Help Needed at Cabrillo Fest

The 52nd Annual Cabrillo Festival is Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27. It’s a great opportunity to honor Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo on the anniversary of his discovering San Diego bay on September 28, 1542. Highlights of the event include:
  • Spanish dancers
  • Ethnic food
  • Live reenactment of Cabrillo rowing ashore in 1452!
  • Dignitaries
  • Shade area with seating
  • Very family friendly, kids jumpy and playground
  • It’s free!
CNM will participate in the festival on Sunday, September 27 by having an outreach booth at Ballast Point from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. We welcome Living History or VIP’s in Blue to help staff our booth beginning at 11 a.m. If you are interested in participating, please sign up in Volgistics. It’s a fun event and we could use a few more volunteers.
